Baseball
Chisum finished a historic baseball season for the Fort Morgan Mustangs. The junior was the top batter on the Mustangs hitting .494 and broke the single season hits record with 44 hits, surpassing Arizona Cardinals Tight End Trey McBride who set the record at 41 in 2018. He also was the Mustangs top pitcher finishing the season with a 7-3 record, a 1.81 ERA and 63 strikeouts to only 5 walks. All of his starts but one was a complete game. He was named first time All-Conference in the Patriot League. He’s a three sports athlete excelling in football and basketball as well for the Mustangs.
