PLAYER SPOTLIGHT

Hannah Kugler
Volleyball
Kugler is only a junior, but she has already left her mark on Northeastern plains athletics as a member of the Prairie Mustangs. Hannah just led the Mustangs to their first appearance in State Volleyball since 2016, accumulating over 300 kills on the season, and is closing in on 700 in her career. In Basketball, she was a double-double machine averaging just under 18 points per game and more than 13 rebounds per. She has already earned All-State Honorable mentions in both sports. She is also an accomplished track and field competitor, winning the State Championship in the High Jump as a freshman. Hannah had to forgo her sophomore year of track due to a knee injury and hopes to return to championship form in the spring. For Hannah, her future college decision not only includes what school she would like to attend, but also what sports she wants to continue to compete in.
