Officers were called to a call involving the party identified as 40-year-old Estevan Valencia. Valencia's driving status was determined to be revoked as a habitual traffic offender which led to the traffic stop. Further intel was known about Valencia so Sgt. Johnson of the MCSO was requested with his K9 partner Dobby. K9 Dobby indicated on the presence of narcotics so a search was done and a crystalline substance was found that tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl. A stolen firearm was also recovered.
Valencia was arrested and held without bond on Possession of Weapon by Previous Offender, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Controlled substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Drove Motor Vehicle When License is Revoked as a Habitual Traffic Offender.
