Morgan County Sheriff’s Office -
Today, September 5, at approximately 10:15 AM, this morning, Morgan County first responders were dispatched to a single engine airplane crash in the Snyder / Hillrose area. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the sole occupant of the airplane was deceased. This crash is being investigated jointly by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan County Coroner’s Office, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Nation Transportation Safety Board (NTSB)
This is an active investigation additional details will not be released at this time. The pilots name and information is not being released until family members can be notified.
