Eaton Police Department -
On 11/18 (Monday) at approximately 7:43am, a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the 300 Block of Willow Ave. The individual pictured is suspected in this case as well as another vehicle theft in town, and possibly multiple other thefts in the Weld County area. The person below is described as a Hispanic male, late 20s-early 30s, with two earrings and a goatee. If you recognize this person or have any information, please contact Officer Saucerman at 970-454-2212. This individual seems to be targeting vehicles that are puffing (leaving a car idling unattended) on these cold mornings.
As a reminder, puffing is illegal in Colorado with the exception of cars with an immobilizing remote start system. Puffing can result in a ticket and fine and also leaves your vehicle vulnerable to thieves.
