Sterling softball used a four run top of the seven to steal one in Brush yesterday in a final of (14-12). Sterling’s Addison Steele hit a two run home run and Brush’s Alyica Hernadez had a solo shot as the teams combined for 30 hits. The Lady Diggers travel to Greeley for the start of the two day Northridge Invite this afternoon. On the volleyball court last night, Brush lost their third straight, this one at home to Platte Valley (3 sets to none). The Lady Diggers remain at home and host the Wray Eagles tonight at 6:30pm.
