Brush softball used a nine run second to power past Platte Valley (13-1) in four innings for their first league victory of the season. Senior Avery Lefever picked up her sixth win and allowed 1 run on 1 hit with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. Brush had 8 players finish with a hit as they totaled 9 as a team. Lady Diggers are on the road Thursday at Timnath at 4pm in game one of our double header on Hometown Radio KFTM.
Fort Morgan volleyball swept Mountain View in their league opener last night at Stan Lampe Gymnasium. Presley Siebrands had 8 kills to pace the Lady Mustangs and Ava Taylor ended the night with 6 blocks and 3 kills. Fort Morgan travels to Riverdale Ridge Thursday at 6:30pm in game two on Hometown Radio KFTM.
The Wiggins Lady Tigers bounced back from their first loss with a quick 3 set sweep at Akron. Wiggins has a big matchup on Thursday when they entertain the Sedgwick County Cougars starting at 4pm. And in the final match of the night, Brush lost in three on the road at Liberty Common. Lady Diggers play again tomorrow and host the Eaton Reds at 6:30pm.
