Wray Boys Wrestling lost their dual last night to Hoxie, KS 60-12. Hoxie won 11 of the 14 matches, including 9 pins. Wray's 3 wins came from a pin by Samuel Meisner, a 7-1 win for Casey Midcap, and Austin Collins taking down a defending Kansas state champion 3-2. Wray Boys Wrestling will wrestle in a dual tournament in McCook, NE today starting at 1pm, and in a tournament in Stratton tomorrow at 9am.
Wray Girls Wrestling will wrestle tomorrow in a tournament at Chatfield starting at 8am.
Wray Basketball will take on Yuma at home tonight. JV girls will play at 4, followed by varsity girls and varsity boys. Live coverage of the 2 varsity games will begin at 5:30pm on KRDZ. Tomorrow, the teams will travel separately. The girls will travel to Dayspring Christian, starting with C team at 11, followed by JV and varsity. The boys will travel to Berthoud, with C team playing at noon followed by JV and varsity. Live coverage of the boys varsity game tomorrow will begin around 3pm on KRDZ.
