Wray Track hosted the Dick Evans invite yesterday, with the girls finishing in 1st place and the boys in 3rd. For the girls, Faith Ridnour finished in 4th in the 200 meter, Addi Jones finished in 1st in the 800 meter, 1600 meter and 3200 meter, Liz Pureco finished in 3rd in the 800 meter, Jamie Sharp finished 1st in the 100 meter hurdles, Makenna Kline finished 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles and 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles, Sharon Greek finished 1st in high jump, Sydnee Cheek finished 3rd in pole vault, Makynna Deland finished 1st in shot put and 2nd in discus, and Mariah Deland finished 4th in discus. For the boys, Casey Midcap finished 4th in the 400 meter, Eric Tracy finished 5th in the 800 meter, Aaron Tena finished 1st in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, Austin Hendrix finished 4th in the 300 meter hurdles, and Wyatt Fonte finished 3rd in triple jump and 4th in high jump. Wray Track will be in their next meet tomorrow in Brush starting at 9:30am.
Wray Baseball is taking on Haxtun in a road doubleheader today, first pitch is at 2pm on KRDZ. This game was originally scheduled for tomorrow, but was moved up due to the forecasted weather.
Wray Girls Golf is in a tournament in Stratton today, tee off is at 10am.
