Wray Police Department -
Earlier in the morning, on Tuesday, November 5th, the Colorado State Patrol initiated a traffic stop on HWY 34 and CR M. The vehicle stopped was a Dark Red 2019 Ford F-150 and had been reported stolen out of Loveland around 5AM.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene going South on CR M, evading Colorado State Patrol. At 11:40 AM a driving complaint was reported at HWY 34 and CR RR concerning the same vehicle. At this time the vehicle was heading West and being driven recklessly through the construction zone while targeting construction workers.
The Wray Police Department immediately responded and at 11:43 AM attempted a traffic stop on the East side of the City of Wray. The driver refused to comply and continued through town at speeds of 45mph. At 11:46 AM Officers stopped the vehicle at HWY 34 and Jackson St (Rainbow Park).
The driver, identified as 38-year-old Lauren A Skinner (DOB 11/15/1986), was taken into custody and transported to Washington County Jail by Colorado State Patrol.
