There is relief from the frosty weather in sight, as the arctic air, and the major systems that produced snow in many areas across Colorado, are all moving out, as warmer and dryer air masses move into the state. The Denver Metro area and the front range received anywhere from 5 to 11 inches of snow overnight from Thursday into Friday, as the rush-hour drive within the C-470 loop was a mess all morning long. The sun is now out across Colorado, as the wind chill advisories for the extreme eastern plains and the tri-state area expired earlier this morning. Although travel on the roads in the Denver area, and up and down the I-25 corridor are still dicey, travel across NE Colorado is in decent shape. Temperature across the region will climb into the 50’s and 60’s throughout the weekend, and into early next week.
